Position: Project Management Office (PMO) Manager

We are seeking a Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to align with our values of accountability, integrity, grit, and problem‑solving. The PMO Manager will manage the planning, governance, and oversight of IT and compliance‑related initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and adherence to ISO 27001, SOC1, PCI DSS, and HIPAA/HITECH frameworks. The role focuses on operational excellence, risk mitigation, and compliance through disciplined project management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the company’s compliance program and policies, including audit readiness and regulatory certification efforts.
  • Partner with IT Security, Risk, Legal, and Audit teams to ensure project deliverables support compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 1, PCI DSS, and HIPAA/HITECH standards.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams, compliance officers, and executive stakeholders to ensure transparency, accountability, and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with IT, Security, and Compliance leadership to monitor program and project health, risk, and audit readiness.
  • Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits within applicable frameworks.
  • Establish and manage the IT and Compliance PMO framework, ensuring consistent project governance and documentation across all IT initiatives.
  • Support audit and regulatory review processes through proper documentation and evidence tracking.
  • Develop IT and Compliance project plans, set deadlines, assign owners, and track progress.
  • Monitor project health and program performance through KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting.
  • Facilitate project status meetings and Compliance Committee sessions to review progress, risks, and alignment with regulatory frameworks.
  • Create and maintain project dashboards for executives and stakeholders, providing clear visibility into schedules, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple initiatives.
  • Execute, lead, and support other projects assigned by leadership in support of organizational goals and strategic objectives.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, communication, or a relevant field.
  • At least five (5) years of project management or PMO experience, with a minimum of one (1) year focused on IT compliance or governance (ISO 27001, SOC 1, PCI DSS, HIPAA/HITECH).
  • Knowledge of data center operations and Net Suite (ERP) is a plus.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project/program management tools such as Excel, Smartsheet, and MS Project.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills required for executive‑level presentations and dashboards.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to convey information clearly verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to develop and maintain executive summaries for multiple projects.
  • Proven ability to develop effective working relationships.
  • Travel may be required.
