Experience:
8-12+ years of formal Project/Program Management experience, specifically leading complex, enterprise-wide technology and business initiatives within the Financial Services or Banking sector.
Proven experience bridging the gap between Finance (e.g., regulatory reporting, ledger modernization, capital markets) and IT Development (SDLC, software engineering teams).
Deep understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management frameworks. Ability to navigate strict enterprise PMO governance and compliance standards.
Exceptional communication, diplomacy, and presentation skills. Must be capable of synthesizing complex technical issues into actionable insights for Managing Directors and senior executives.
Demonstrated ability to articulate problems, bring the right cross-functional teams together to solve them, and drive accountability.
Preferred Qualifications /Skills/
Experience:
Advanced proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and PPM tools (e.g., Planview or similar enterprise systems).
Familiarity with data strategy, regulatory reporting, or risk management implementations.
Job Duties:
Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for diverse, moderately to highly complex technology and finance initiatives. Drive scope definition, project planning, execution, budget management, and successful deployment.
Partner closely with Global Finance, Technology, Operations, and external stakeholders. Facilitate working groups, steer governance forums, and ensure clear, continuous alignment between business requirements and
technical execution.
Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies. Develop mitigation strategies and escalate effectively to senior management before roadblocks impact project delivery.
Enforce the use of best-practice PMO methodologies (Agile and Waterfall). Own project reporting, including RAG (Red/Amber/Green) ratings, KPIs, capacity planning, and executive status updates.
Conduct business analysis and process re-engineering as needed. Identify opportunities to simplify financial operational workflows and enhance system integrations.
Cultivate a collaborative, high-performing project environment. Lead matrixed teams of business analysts, developers, and QA resources to deliver on shared objectives without direct HR authority over them.
Appropriately assess risk when business and project decisions are made, safeguarding Client by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and internal PMO policies.
