Vendor Specialist

• Pay or shift range: $21 USD to $24 USD

Our growing automotive group is seeking a Vendor Controls Specialist to manage vendor onboarding and maintain the integrity of vendor records across multiple dealership locations. This role serves as the primary administrator for vendor creation and maintenance within our Dealer Management System (DMS) and ensures all vendors meet company requirements for documentation, tax compliance, and payment setup.

The Vendor Specialist is responsible for the integrity, control, and governance of all vendor records across multiple dealership locations. This role serves as the sole authorized individual responsible for vendor creation and maintenance within the Dealer Management System (DMS), ensuring proper approval, documentation, tax compliance, and payment setup prior to activation. This position plays a critical role in strengthening internal controls, preventing fraud, standardizing vendor data, supporting Corpay implementation, and enhancing the overall efficiency and compliance of the centralized Accounts Payable function.

Experience in Accounts Payable, accounting operations, or vendor management preferred.

Experience with a Dealer Management System (DMS) strongly preferred.

Knowledge of vendor compliance, 1099 reporting, and internal controls

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential financial information.

Strong organizational and communication skills.
