Job SummaryThe Information Technology (IT) Operations Specialist is responsible for providing service desk operations, technical support, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management for endpoint devices, software applications, and related technologies throughout Community Health Centers, Inc. (CHC). This role supports clinical, operational, and administrative staff across multiple locations and serves as a frontline technical resource for incident response, request fulfillment, break/fix support, project implementations, endpoint security, Microsoft 365 technologies, telecommunications, and IT operational support services.
The position functions as both a service desk and field support role.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree, technical school training, industry certifications, or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience:
- One to two years direct experience within a business environment required.
- At least six months working in the IT field required.
- Minimum six months work experience with up-to-date information systems.
- Experience with Windows server environment.
- Experience with LINUX environments a plus.
- Experience with MS office suite, Remote administration suites, various anti-virus programs, and terminal emulation software.
Certification:
- Must be able to obtain CompTIA A+ certification within 12 months of employment.
Preferred
Certifications:
- CompTIA Network+.
- CompTIA Security+.
- Microsoft Certified:
Endpoint Administrator Associate.
Other requirements:
- Ability to work flexible schedules when operationally necessary.
- Valid Florida Driver License required.
- CHC-provided vehicles are available for travel between organizational locations and support sites.
