2. Hands-on experience with configuring and managing network switches from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista).

3. Develop and maintain network automation workflows and scripts using various programming languages (e.g., Python)

4. Experience with network management and monitoring tools.

5. Design and implement network switching and routing solutions with an eye towards automation and API integration.

6. Configure and deploy network devices, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and automation platforms.

7. Understanding of network security principles and best practices.

8. Identify opportunities to automate manual network tasks, such as configuration changes, deployments, and troubleshooting.

Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:

1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve network switch issues.

2. Ability to troubleshoot complex network problems and implement effective solutions.

3. Monitor network device performance and identify potential issues or bottlenecks.

4. Troubleshoot and resolve network problems, including hardware failures, configuration errors, and API integration issues.

Configuration Management:

1. Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate network device configuration using APis (e.g., REST, NETCONF).

2. Integrate network devices with automation and orchestration platforms via APls.

3. Create and manage configuration templates for network devices, allowing for dynamic updates through APls.
