Regular position with a required Top Secret/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain the same.
Clearance Requirements- Must currently possess a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Must maintain IAM Level II eligibility per DoD 8750.
- Perform cybersecurity activities for a large program, coordinating with government staff, USAF, and other agencies to create, disseminate, direct, and audit program policy, standards, and operating procedures.
- Support the government ISSMs in developing and staffing documentation related to Authorization to Operate (ATO), Authorization to Connect (ATC), Interim Authorization to Test (IATT), and Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms).
- Assist in developing and executing required Security Test & Evaluation (ST&E) plans.
- Produce and provide A&A materials, including engineering project briefs and outstanding RMF actions for DoD IT packages by phase.
- Provide the USG with a review of architecture documentation, security impact analysis, and risk mitigation/acceptance to support RMF for DoD IT authorization.
- Provide security design management control of build processes for servers, services, and end points.
- Ensure compliance with hosting facility ATOs where the MPCO IS depend on them.
- Establish, implement, and enforce good cybersecurity and vulnerability management practices.
- Conduct network and system audits for vulnerabilities using STIGs, DISA SCAP, ACAS vulnerability scanner, and ESS Policy Auditor for Linux, Windows, Cisco, Juniper, VMWare, and other associated OS and technologies.
- Implement the Continuous Monitoring program by creating, tracking, reviewing, and closing POA&Ms and Risk Acceptances, and assist in solution identification for problem remediation.
- Communicate tactical and strategic threat information to government leaders, Cybersecurity-Ops, and A&A staff to aid in cyber risk decisions and threat mitigation.
- Carry out the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) in accordance with DoD 8510 to assess information system security posture.
- Coordinate with AFRL, USAF, and other organizations for audits and inspections, providing necessary documentation for SAVs, STEs, and CCRI.
- Evaluate change requests (firewalls, systems, networks) and assess organizational risk.
- Ensure integrity and protection of networks, systems, and applications through technical enforcement of organizational security policies.
- Provide guidance and leadership to less‑experienced technical staff.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology.
- Process tickets in support of the program using the accepted ITSM system.
- Perform work at client site locations, including proper safety precautions and handling of light materials.
- Minimum 5+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years as an ISSO.
- Working knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Eligibility for IAM Level II per DoD 8750.
- ITIL V4 Foundation certification required within six months of hire.
- Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance, current and maintained.
- BA/BS or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
- Ability to work in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment.

Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
Travel required:
less than 10%.
Telecommuting options: onsite work only.
CompensationSalary range: $89,250 – $120,750. Final compensation depends on experience, geography, and contractual requirements.
