Overview
We are seeking a creative and driven professional to manage Authorized Service Interruption (ASI) processes for the US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System eXtended (US BICES‑X). The role supports a distributed team across combatant commands and directly supports mission partners.
Responsibilities- Manage the ASI process throughout each Area of Operations.
- Socialize proposed/scheduled ASIs with stakeholders and customers.
- Perform quality assurance, monitor, prioritize and manage ASI requests and service notifications.
- Maintain the SharePoint calendar for ASI status.
- Process, de‑conflict and track component ASI requests impacting US BICES.
- Gather accurate information from ASI requestors to define scope of impact.
- Document ASI requests and manage tickets in Service Now.
- Develop and maintain SOP documentation, policies and standards for ASI management.
- Work with network operations personnel to monitor behavior indicating possible service interruptions.
- Collect and analyze information on approved and unapproved circuit or service outages to inform future requests.
- Support continuous improvement of information collection and dissemination methods for briefings and presentations.
- Document circuits and ensure access within the Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC).
- Assist NOSC with incident response categorization and impact updates based on circuit data.
- Support Continuity of Information Technology Operations (CITO) plan and execution.
- Provide weekly activity reports and monthly report inputs to the NOSC.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Network Operations Security Center Lead.
- Train assigned standby ASI personnel on all processes.
- Work 24/7, including holidays and weekends.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent education/training.
- Active Secret clearance, eligible for TS/SCI.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and convey effectively to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Motivated, adaptable, and able to produce quality results in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and follow‑up skills with attention to detail.
- Team‑work oriented.
- Network troubleshooting and incident response experience.
- Experience with ASI requests and tracking from initial request to completion.
- Operations or service desk management experience.
- ITIL v4 certification and Service Now proficiency.
- Solar Winds Certified Professional (SCP).
- Microsoft software products experience.
$85,093–$97,750 per year (salary depends on experience, location and contractual requirements).
Work Hours40 hours per week, 24/7 shift work required, including holidays and weekends.

Work LocationUSA, FL Mac Dill AFB; additional work locations as applicable.
