Java Developer; Spanish bilingual

$50hr – $60hr

• Translate and adapt platform features into Spanish while preserving intent and usability
• Develop and maintain front-end heavy applications (?70% UI-focused work)
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies, including standups, planning, and retrospectives
• Contribute to system design, architecture, and code quality practices
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines
• Partner closely with bilingual engineers to solve localization challenges
• Ensure UI/UX integrity when handling language-based layout differences

• Fluency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to code across languages
• Strong understanding of how language translation impacts UI/UX and application logic
• Experience working within both legacy systems and modern frameworks simultaneously
• Hands-on experience with Java (Spring ecosystem) and React-based front ends
• Ability to navigate localization challenges such as text expansion and layout constraints
