Oracle Fast Formula Developer

Job Description

Hands‑on builder owning Oracle Fusion Cloud Fast Formulas end‑to‑end (requirement intake, functional design, technical design, build, unit test). Executes solo on assigned Fast Formulas and collaborates with functional, technical, and client‑side teammates on assigned Fast Formula portfolio.

• Multiple years building production Fast Formulas across two or more formula types (e.g., Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time & Labor / Workforce Management).
• Deep command of the Fast Formula language: contexts, database items (DBIs), routes, change contexts, arrays, loops, defaults, reserved words, error handling.
• Best practices for architecting, modularizing, and performance‑tuning Fast Formulas; disciplined unit and regression test design (including expected‑result test cases and edge coverage).
• Working knowledge of the underlying HCM and labor management data model and functional architecture including: elements and element entries, user defined tables, value sets, time rule templates and rules, payroll flows, absence plans, and HCM Extract touchpoints.
• Ability to translate ambiguous functional requirements into a clean functional design, technical design, and working formula with minimal rework.
• Familiarity with HDL, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, and OIC where formulas interface with extracts, reports, or downstream integrations.
• Experience partnering with a team on Fast Formula design, build, and code review.
