Email & Web Specialist

Full-time | In-Office | Tampa, FL

Base Salary: $60,000 - $65,000

Possible Earning Potential: $75,000

Position Overview

The 21st Agency is looking for an Email & Web Specialist to support client marketing efforts across email platforms, websites, ecommerce, and campaign execution. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, technically capable, and comfortable working across multiple client accounts. The right person can confidently navigate platforms like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Active Campaign, Word Press, and Shopify, while keeping campaigns, websites, automations, links, forms, and user flows clean, functional, and on schedule.

You will work in a collaborative, in-office environment with free coffee, an office dog, impromptu practical jokes, Fortune 500 clients, and a team that knows how to move fast without letting the small details slip.

Responsibilities Email Marketing
  • Build, schedule, and QA email campaigns in Klaviyo, Mail Chimp and Active Campaign
  • Set up automated email flows, including welcome sequences, abandoned cart flows, nurture campaigns, and promotional series
  • Segment email lists based on audience behavior, customer data, campaign goals, and client needs
  • Assist with email performance reporting, including open rates, click rates, conversions, revenue, and list growth
  • Ensure emails are mobile-friendly, properly linked, on-brand, and error-free before deployment
  • Support ongoing list hygiene, tagging, suppression lists, and compliance best practices
Website Development
  • Build, update, and maintain websites and landing pages in Word Press and Shopify
  • Make copy, image, layout, product, and content updates across client websites
  • Troubleshoot website issues and coordinate when advanced support is needed
  • Create and update landing pages for campaigns, promotions, lead generation, and ecommerce initiatives
  • Ensure websites are optimized for user experience, mobile responsiveness, and conversion goals
  • Support SEO basics, including metadata updates, internal linking, page structure, and content formatting
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge or the ability to troubleshoot simple formatting issues preferred
Ecommerce & Shopify
  • Manage Shopify product updates, collections, promotions, discount codes, and homepage merchandising
  • Support ecommerce email integrations and customer journey touchpoints
  • Assist with campaign setup for product launches, seasonal promotions, and sales events
  • Monitor site functionality related to checkout, product pages, forms, and customer experience
Campaign Execution & Reporting
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Shopify reporting, Klaviyo analytics, or similar reporting tools preferred
  • Collaborate with the strategy, content, creative, and paid media teams to bring campaigns to life
  • Ensure email and web deliverables are executed accurately and on schedule
  • Track campaign performance and help identify opportunities for optimization
  • Maintain organized workflows, project updates, and documentation across client accounts
  • Stay current on platform updates, best practices, and emerging tools related to email marketing, ecommerce, and web management
Required Experience
  • Hands‑on experience with Klaviyo and Mail Chimp
  • Hands‑on experience with Active Campaign
  • Hands‑on experience with Word Press
  • Hands‑on experience with Shopify
  • Strong understanding of email campaign setup, automation, segmentation, and reporting
  • Experience updating websites, landing pages, and ecommerce content
  • Basic understanding of UX, conversion optimization, and mobile‑first design
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to QA work before launch
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines across different clients
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced agency environment
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or similar reporting tools
  • Experience with ecommerce brands, service businesses, or local businesses
  • Understanding of SEO basics
  • Experience with CRM tagging, list management, and customer journey mapping
