Primary
Skills:

- Extensive experience with implementing and managing BI platforms for business intelligence, data applications, and embedded analytics.
- 10+ years of experience in managing BI Platforms including Power BI, Looker, Amazon Quick Sight.
- Experience in designing and delivering complex platform architectures.
- Extensive experience with Python programming, Shell Scripting, and Power Shell Scripting.
- Identify and implement various automation solutions using scripting.
- Have worked on various product APIs to automate Admin functions.
- Extensive knowledge and experience on setting up security using Active Directory, Azure AD, and Ping Federate.
- Have worked on configuring OAuth, SAML configurations for SSO implementation.
- Experience in defining SDLC processes and CI/CD processes using Jenkins.
- Integrating Looker with a GIT repo for code commits.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with platform governance and resiliency.
- Power BI Service architecture design and administration including but not limited to Azure and Power BI Administration, PBI Premium Capacity Administration, and extensive knowledge of Power BI Premium Service as a whole and how to troubleshoot and find opportunities for automation to streamline the day‑to‑day operations of the platform.
- Experience with Looker Setup and Administration.
- Architect and develop data models, ETL packages, and reports utilizing Power BI applying best practices to the development lifecycle. Data Modeling experience with Kimball method.
- Experience with more than one database tool such as Snowflake, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server.
- Understanding of various external components that BI tools depend on for successful connectivity, including understanding of Network, Firewall, Proxy, etc.
- Integrating Power BI with different tools, including but not limited to Splunk, Collibra, Service Now.
- Understanding of pre‑requisites for a successful connection setup.
- Strong ability to quickly propose solutions by recalling the latest best practices learned from MVP & Product Team articles, vendor documentation, whitepapers, and community publications.
- A passion for understanding and integrating business semantics into technology solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic, client‑facing role where delivering solid work products to exceed high expectations is a measure of success.
- Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills.
- Ability to lead complex projects.
- Strong Looker Admin Experience (including LookML, dashboard creation, and instance management).
- AWS Knowledge (EC2, S3, Lambda, Redshift).
- Experience with CI/CD Processes (for automating testing and deployment).
- Experience with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Experience with ITSM (IT Service Management) and Change Management.
- Proficiency in Scripting (Python, Shell, Power Shell).
- Automation and Infrastructure Management Skills.
- Understanding of Network Firewalls and Proxies (in cloud environments).
