Data Solution Manager

As a Data Solution Manager, you will play a critical role in driving success and innovation by working with a team of software developers, data engineers, and data scientists to create, refine, monitor, and manage information management approaches and platforms for an internet‑based program in Tampa, FL.

• Coordinate with teams and project SMEs to align current and future capabilities and integrate them into operational activities.
• Identify opportunities for technical solutions to improve integration of operational project aspects; assist in supervision, installation, testing, and setup of new solutions.
• Participate in Agile project management methodologies to support all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable and emerging technologies.
• Integrate research and development efforts with project‑level efforts within the program to create shared learning and best practices.
• Support customer enterprise SharePoint Administration.
• Oversee multiple enterprise tools, serving as the subject‑matter expert responsible for training users, managing account creation, and deactivating access as needed.
• Serve as the data management expert, with a deep understanding of data ingestion processes and the ability to analyze and determine the optimal presentation of data to maximize its effectiveness for analysts.

• Active DoD Secret clearance required; accepted candidates will be submitted for Top Secret (TS) and may obtain SCI eligibility.
• 5+ years of related experience in roles such as Software Engineer, Data Engineer, Data Analyst, Solutions Engineer, Product Manager.
• Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements.
• Experience in IT architecture, infrastructure, cloud development, software development, and SaaS.
• Project management experience.
• Proven analytical skills and a problem‑solving attitude.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Programming language experience (C, Python, Ruby) desired.
• Data technology experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, SQL) desired.
• Data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, D3.js, R) desired.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) desired.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; experience may substitute for a degree.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required.

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500, based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
