Primary Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is to offer operational first line support for computer and audio visual issues in teaching and learning spaces. The position will interface directly with faculty and students in classrooms to address technology issues, and act as an escalation point into the IT Classroom AV Operations Team.
Compensation and Schedule- Pay Rate: $15/hour

- Assist in AV Operations by troubleshooting standard audio/video systems and pathways, as well as basic computer and collaboration software (Teams) troubleshooting.
- Assist in the operations and maintenance of technology in classrooms and conference room environments.
- Lift/carry up to 40 pounds when moving and transporting equipment.
- Maintain a modern cell phone capable of checking email, receiving phone calls, and running MS Teams.
- Help train faculty in all media-rich classrooms.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be a USF student.
- Provide at least 16 hours of availability per week.
- Have class schedule that allows at least 16 hours of availability.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
