Barbaricum is seeking highly qualified Engineering, Scientific, Analysis, Operational, and Developer Support professionals to provide technical expertise in support of Government engineering, research, development, testing, evaluation, and operational missions. Successful candidates will have experience delivering engineering, scientific, analytical, and operational solutions that enhance mission effectiveness and address evolving national security challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering, technical, analytical, and developer support across research, development, testing, evaluation, and operational mission areas.
- Apply engineering principles and analytical methodologies to support computer-aided design (CAD), finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), modeling and simulation, instrumentation, experimentation, and system testing.
- Develop software applications, analytical tools, and data-driven solutions that enhance operational capabilities and support mission requirements.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis, modeling, and visualization to evaluate system performance and inform technical and operational decisions.
- Support the development, execution, and assessment of experiments to validate technologies, concepts, and emerging capabilities.
- Serve as a technical advisor to Government stakeholders by providing engineering, operational, and analytical expertise on evolving threats, including counter-IED and counter-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS) initiatives.
- Apply knowledge of Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) to support capability development, requirements analysis, and concept refinement.
- Develop and implement instrumentation and analytical techniques to support system evaluation, technology maturation, and capability development.
- Maintain and administer Government knowledge management portals across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS environments in accordance with security and information management requirements.
- Publish, organize, and maintain technical reports, operational products, and other mission-related documentation within Government-approved repositories.
- Coordinate with technical authors and stakeholders to apply standardized metadata, tags, keywords, and taxonomy structures that improve information discoverability.
- Implement document version control and configuration management processes to ensure users have access to current, authoritative information.
- Organize technical content into intuitive knowledge repositories that support efficient collaboration, information sharing, and decision-making.
- Monitor collaboration tools, discussion forums, and knowledge-sharing platforms to encourage stakeholder engagement and facilitate information exchange.
- Collaborate with Government personnel, contractors, partner organizations, and cross-functional teams to deliver timely, high-quality technical and operational support.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, briefings, and presentations that communicate complex engineering and analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with Government policies, security requirements, and applicable industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Active DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance required.
- Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field.
- 5 years of experience
