Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) will lead and oversee cybersecurity governance and compliance for information systems supporting U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM). This role manages the overall security posture, ensures systems meet all DoD and SOCOM cybersecurity requirements, and directs the work of ISSOs and security personnel. The ISSM provides strategic cybersecurity guidance, oversees accreditation activities under the Risk Management Framework (RMF), and ensures secure operations across complex and sensitive mission environments.

What You Will Do

* Oversee RMF activities from system categorization through continuous monitoring and re‑accreditation.

* Manage development and maintenance of SSPs, POA&Ms, incident response plans, audit documentation, and all accreditation artifacts.

* Supervise ISSOs and coordinate system security tasks across administrators, engineers, and mission partners.

* Establish cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent secure system operations.

* Provide senior-level guidance during system design, integration, modernization, and transition into operational environments.

* Lead vulnerability management, incident response coordination, and security remediation planning.

* Prepare systems for formal assessments, inspections, Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRIs), and SOCOM security audits.

* Serve as principal cybersecurity liaison to SOCOM leadership, external assessors, and mission partners.

What We Are Looking For

* Level 3: 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.

* Level 4: 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.

* Level 5: 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
