We are seeking a VMware Engineer to join an enterprise infrastructure operations team supporting mission‑critical environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with VMware administration, cloud platforms, Windows infrastructure, and enterprise operations. This role involves system administration, performance tuning, patching, disaster recovery support, and implementing infrastructure changes while ensuring high availability and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support for enterprise infrastructure across multiple client environments.
- Administer and maintain VMware virtual infrastructure.
- Install, configure, patch, and maintain Windows servers, storage, and related technologies.
- Monitor system performance, perform capacity planning, and recommend improvements.
- Execute infrastructure changes and assess risks associated with production systems.
- Develop and maintain standardized build templates and documentation.
- Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and recovery documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and vendors to deliver infrastructure solutions.
- Stay current with VMware, Windows, storage, and cloud best practices.
- Participate in system upgrades, maintenance activities, and production support.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and service level agreements (SLAs).
- 1–3 years of experience in Cloud Administration (AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP).
- 1–3 years of experience supporting enterprise IT operations.
- Basic experience with VMware administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Active Directory administration.
- VMware administration experience and VMware VCP Certification
. - SAN storage experience (EMC preferred).
- MCSE Certification.
- WSUS administration.
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
- Experience supporting High Availability (HA) environments.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related technical field.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
