- Full Time MCS is hiring for a Unified Communications (UC) / VoIP Engineer – Government Radio Systems.

This is a full-time, remote, permanent position with benefits. The Unified Communications (UC) / VoIP Engineer must demonstrate the ability to install, configure, integrate, and maintain secure SIP-based Voice over IP (VoIP) communications systems supporting U.S. Government customers worldwide. This position requires experience integrating Unified Communications platforms with Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems and tactical government radios. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, work effectively in a collaborative team environment, and remain current with evolving Unified Communications technologies, cybersecurity best practices, and applicable Government and industry standards.

Typical

Duties Include:

* Install, configure, and maintain Mitel Unify Open Scape Voice SIP-based VoIP platforms at Government facilities worldwide.

* Configure users, devices, licensing, server hardware, operating system images, and system updates.

* Configure network infrastructure including IP addressing, VLANs, domains, and related network services.

* Configure and troubleshoot SIP trunking utilizing Cisco CUBE, Cisco Dial Peers, and related VoIP technologies.

* Implement system security hardening in accordance with DoD cybersecurity requirements, including STIGs, FIPS, and other security controls.

* Integrate the Mitel Unify Xpert application with Government-provided Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems.

* Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support Government radio platforms including PRC-117G, Motorola APX
7500/APX
8500, and Motorola CM300/CM350 series radios.

* Administer virtualization environments utilizing VMware vSphere/ESXi and Red Hat KVM.

* Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems including SUSE, Debian, and Ubuntu.

* Travel worldwide to support customer installations, upgrades, maintenance, and technical support activities.

Experience Requirements
* Experience deploying and supporting SIP-based Unified Communications and VoIP platforms.

* Experience with Mitel Unify/Open Scape Voice and/or Cisco VoIP technologies.

* Experience integrating Unified Communications systems with Government Land Mobile Radio (LMR) platforms.

* Working knowledge of PRC-117G, Motorola APX
7500/APX
8500, and Motorola CM300/CM350 radios.

* Experience administering Linux operating systems including SUSE, Debian, and Ubuntu.

* Experience administering VMware vSphere/ESXi and Red Hat KVM virtualization environments.

* Strong understanding of IP networking, VLANs, DNS, routing, and switching concepts.

* Ability to travel approximately 25%, with occasional travel up to 35%, including international Government facilities.
