Are you passionate about cybersecurity and incident response? Do you enjoy digging into security alerts, investigating threats, and helping organizations stay protected?
We're looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join a growing Managed Security Services team, working onsite with a customer as their trusted cybersecurity resource. This is a hands‑on role where you'll investigate real‑world security incidents, collaborate directly with IT teams, and play a key role in protecting enterprise environments.
What You’ll Be Doing- Monitor and triage security alerts in real time
- Investigate security incidents from detection through resolution
- Perform forensic analysis, root cause investigations, and threat analysis
- Analyze endpoint, network, cloud, and identity logs to identify malicious activity
- Differentiate true threats from false positives and improve detection accuracy
- Document investigations, findings, and remediation recommendations
- Partner directly with customer IT teams during active incidents and security events
- Escalate complex incidents while following established response procedures
- Help improve detection rules, playbooks, and security processes
- Stay current on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques
- 3–5+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Incident Response, or Security Operations
- Hands‑on experience with incident response and forensic investigations
- Strong knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and log analysis
- Experience troubleshooting security alerts and determining root cause
- Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework
, malware behavior, and threat detection - Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills
- Industry certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GCIH, GSEC
, or equivalent
- Google Sec Ops / Chronicle SIEM experience
- CISSP, GCIA, GCFE, or other advanced security certifications
- Experience supporting K-12, government, or public sector environments
Familiarity with NIST, FERPA, CJIS, or similar compliance frameworks - Scripting or automation experience (Power Shell, Python, etc.)
- Work directly with customers and make a real impact
