Senior Automation Engineer

Senior Automation Engineer Remote Comfortable with user stories and constraints to design automation and integrated systems that meet the operational needs. Identify and report defects, track issues, and work closely with development teams to resolve them. Design and develop using scripting languages (ex. Python, UNIX shell, HCL, YAML, and JSON). Comfortable with Java and JavaScript application development. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of multiple infrastructure automation tools and technologies such as Ansible and Terraform.

Implementation and support of Dev Ops tools including GIT and CI/CD Pipelines. Integrate automation solutions with other IT tools and platforms. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to build and manage infrastructure in a consistent and repeatable way. Monitor and maintain automation scripts to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently. Develop and implement best practices for automation development and operation.

Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in IT infrastructure automation. Collaborate with customers, developers, and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop effective automation solutions. Document your work and share your knowledge with others.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing, building, and deploying Cloud solutions. Infrastructure automation (Terraform). Containerization (Rancher, Docker, K8S, EKS). CI/CD frameworks and tools (Gitlab, Artifactory, Ansible). Experience with test automation frameworks. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Experience working in a SaaS-based product development environment or FDA-regulated medical device environment desired.
