Data Analyst
The COB & CM Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role that applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributes to the development of new techniques, and improves processes and workflow for the area or function. The role integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area, requires strong analytical skills, and involves effective communication and diplomacy.
Responsibilities- Performs detailed operations and validation activities associated with the aggregation of data from many source systems. Ensures consistent reporting and data quality of source systems.
- Performs monthly runbook processing and validation activities, ensuring consistent reporting and data quality from source systems.
- Designs and analyzes complex data reports for use by resolution planning teams, senior management, and regulators.
- Recommends and oversees process improvements.
- Manages and executes operations activities associated with system enhancement projects.
- Ascertains business requirements, conducts data analysis, performs proof of concept and impact analyses, conducts user acceptance testing, and ensures changes are implemented successfully.
- Develops a comprehensive understanding of resolution plan data sourcing, in order to support and influence cross functional teams and management. Prepares analyses, reports, presentations, and other communications for senior management consumption.
- Drives compliance with applicable regulations and policy, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.
- 3‑5 years of experience in a related technology role and subject matter expert in overall field.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues to senior managers.
- Excellent analytical capabilities. Demonstrated experience working with large and complex data files.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel (Pivot, V‑lookup, etc.) and PowerPoint.
- Organizational and project management skills.
- Problem solver with the ability to translate plans into actions.
- Ability to prioritize across multiple deliverables.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
