** HOW A SECURITY CONTROLS ASSESSOR/ANALYST*
* ** WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:*
* + Oversee the T&E assessments of an information systems and networks to ensure security protection measures for the information system are in-place, and compliant.

+ Serve as the point of contact for stakeholders and utilize a management software tool to assist in tracking and monitoring the progress of assessment packages.

+ Support program assessment and authorization activities and conducts regular assessments on and off-site and reviews accreditation documentation to identify risk and mitigation strategies.

+ Guide completion and submission of all enclave Authority to Operate (ATO) package artifacts enabling timely Test and Evaluation (T&E) validations and AO approval during continuous, network service.

+ Ensures security controls are implemented correctly, operating as intended, and are producing the desired outcome

+ This position requires interaction with DoD community customers and industry providers

+ Maintains current knowledge of industry standard Information Assurance best practices

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 5+ years of experience

Required Experience:

5+ years of related Security Controls Assessor and Information Assurance experience

+ Required Technical

Skills:

Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and CIS controls experience

+ Required Certification: 8570 certification: IAM Level II Certification (CASP+ CE or CISSP )

** Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance required.*

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
