The Global Software / AI Project Manager will lead the recovery and successful execution of a strategic joint venture initiative between Jabil and ID8 focused on modernizing Jabil’s global quoting platform. This role will be responsible for bringing the project back on schedule while driving the development and implementation of an AI-enabled quote management solution designed to improve how Jabil generates product quotes for customers worldwide.

The initiative will transform the current quoting process by leveraging artificial intelligence to ingest materials, parts data, historical information, and existing Jabil platforms to automate and enhance quote generation for new client product opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex global software development projects, AI-driven digital transformation initiatives, and cross-functional teams across multiple regions.

This role will serve as the central point of coordination between Jabil, ID8, software engineering teams, AI developers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment, accountability, and successful delivery.

• Lead global software and AI development efforts for the Jabil / ID8 joint venture initiative.
• Drive project recovery efforts to bring timelines, milestones, and deliverables back on track.
• Manage the modernization of Jabil’s quote system to create an AI-enabled platform that improves speed, accuracy, and efficiency in generating customer quotes.
• Oversee development of the next-generation Quoteland tool, leveraging AI capabilities to ingest and analyze materials, parts information, product data, and legacy Jabil systems to support automated quoting.
• Manage end-to-end project execution including scope, schedule, resources, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate integration between AI solutions, software applications, and existing enterprise platforms.
• Partner with engineering, IT, business operations, supply chain, and external technology partners to ensure successful implementation.
• Identify project gaps, risks, and roadblocks while implementing mitigation plans to maintain delivery commitments.
• Establish project governance, reporting structures, milestones, and accountability across global teams.
• Facilitate communication across geographically dispersed teams to improve collaboration and execution.
• Provide regular project updates, status reporting, and risk assessments to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Support IT change management activities required for adoption of new AI-enabled quoting capabilities.
• Drive alignment between business requirements, technical solutions, and customer needs.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality, performance, security, and operational expectations.

• 5-8+ years of experience managing complex global software development or technology transformation projects.
• Experience managing AI, automation, machine learning, or emerging technology initiatives.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technology delivery methodologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including software engineers, IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Experience with IT change management and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and measurable outcomes.
• Experience working in Agile environments and managing software delivery teams.

• Experience modernizing enterprise applications or replacing legacy business systems.
• Experience implementing AI-powered business solutions or automation platforms.
• Background in manufacturing, supply chain, quoting, pricing, or product lifecycle management systems.
• Experience integrating AI applications with enterprise data sources and legacy platforms.
• Experience working with global organizations, joint ventures, or external technology partners.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification preferred.
