Job Description & How to Apply Below

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Director, Cloud, Infrastructure & Operations for a top healthcare client. This candidate will lead the enterprise technology foundation across cloud, infrastructure, networks, endpoints, identity, service delivery, and operational support for a large multi-clinic environment.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience operating distributed healthcare or enterprise environments, modernizing infrastructure through cloud-first architecture, automation, Zero Trust, AIOps, and strong ITIL-based operations. This role is especially critical as the organization moves through a major technology carve-out and transformation, requiring a leader who can stand up new network, cloud, identity, ITSM, monitoring, and vendor ecosystems while ensuring Day-1 readiness, operational stability, scalability, and long-term modernization.

Day-to-Day:
  • Lead the strategy, architecture, modernization, and operational excellence of the enterprise technology foundation
  • Own infrastructure, networks, cloud environments, endpoints, service delivery, and operational monitoring across 100+ clinics, corporate sites, and digital platforms
  • Drive cloud-first architecture, automation, Zero Trust security, and AIOps-enabled operations
  • Stand up and optimize network architecture including SD-WAN, VPN, WAN/LAN, and clinic connectivity
  • Support carve-out initiatives by building new network, cloud, identity, ITSM, monitoring, logging, and observability environments independent of the parent organization
  • Build greenfield cloud landing zones, migrate workloads, and establish cloud governance and operational tooling
  • Automate provisioning, patching, monitoring, configuration, device setup, onboarding/offboarding, and environment management
  • Lead Tier 1/2 support, service desk operations, clinic field support, and ITIL-based service delivery
  • Implement enterprise monitoring and AIOps for anomaly detection, remediation, SLAs, KPIs, and automation-driven support
  • Enforce endpoint protection, patching, vulnerability remediation, identity controls, privileged access, and audit readiness
  • Own disaster recovery strategy, backups, failover architecture, RTO/RPO targets, and DR testing across EMR, Oracle Fusion, RCM, HRIS, and digital platforms
  • Operate and optimize enterprise identity platforms including SSO, MFA, conditional access, RBAC, PAM, and joiner/mover/leaver lifecycle automation
  • Manage infrastructure, cloud, operations vendors, contracts, SLAs, renewals, licensing, and compliance
  • Build and execute TSA exit plans, cutover strategy, Day-1 readiness, and multi-year infrastructure and cloud modernization roadmaps
  • Plan for scalability to support new clinics, services, digital capabilities, rapid expansion, and value-based care operations
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in infrastructure, cloud operations, or IT operations
  • Prior leadership experience in a healthcare provider, payer, or health tech organization
  • Deep expertise in network architecture including WAN/LAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and site connectivity
  • Strong background managing endpoints, devices, imaging, patching, and lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated experience owning cloud architecture, landing zones, infrastructure as code, and cloud governance
  • Hands-on experience with identity platforms such as Azure AD/Entra, Okta, or Ping
  • Strong knowledge of Zero Trust, MFA, RBAC, PAM, IAM governance, and identity lifecycle management
  • Proven success leading ITIL-based operations, including incident, problem, change, asset, and configuration management
  • Experience leading disaster recovery, business continuity planning, failover architecture, backup strategy, and RTO/RPO management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendors, contracts, SLAs, renewals, and license compliance
  • Experience driving automation, operational efficiency, self-service enablement, and modern IT operations
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • HIPAA data handling knowledge
  • Proven leadership experience executing a technology carve-out, divestiture, or large-scale separation from a parent organization
  • Certifications such as AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, CISM, or ITIL
  • Experience standing up greenfield cloud landing zones, ITSM platforms, monitoring tools, observability platforms, or identity tenants
  • Experience supporting EMR, Oracle Fusion, RCM, HRIS, analytics, or digital health platform environments
  • Background implementing AIOps, enterprise monitoring, automation, or cloud cost optimization initiatives
