IT Support Specialist

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an IT Support Specialist for a top healthcare technology and diagnostic imaging client. This candidate will provide technical assistance and support to employees, including handling daily support requests, troubleshooting issues, installing and maintaining PCs, software, hardware, mobile devices, and peripherals, while assisting with larger IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and communication skills, be self-motivated, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for technology and supporting end users.

• High School diploma or GED
• 2+ years of previous experience troubleshooting computer and network problems
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 environment
  • Word, excel (filtering in excel- they use a spreadsheet for inventory)
  • Troubleshooting if Outlook doesn’t work/is slow/not loading
• Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Hardware
    • HP & Dell laptops
    • iPhone/iPad
    • Printers (basic I know how to network a printer)
    • Docking stations/monitor/keyboard)
  • Software:
    • Adobe/Microsoft 365
• Understanding of Remote Desktop Services and Active Directory
  • Need to understand concept of remote desktop. There is a server on prem someone is accessing into
  • They use remote desktop services- people need to connect into legacy systems
  • Will be trained on this
  • Active directory- accessing users on prem domain
• Knowledge of Apple iPhone devices and operating systems
  • Elaborate on operating systems
