Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior SAP APO Supply Chain Consultant for a leading manufacturing client. This individual will serve as the organization's primary SAP APO subject matter expert, supporting a highly customized supply chain planning environment that drives production planning, scheduling, order fulfillment, and availability processes. The consultant will work directly with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to troubleshoot issues, deliver enhancements, improve operational efficiency, and support the company's long-term migration toward S/4

• Minimum 6+ years of SAP experience (prefer 8+)
• Strong SAP APO functional expertise across the supply chain planning landscape
• Hands-on experience with:
  • PP/DS (Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling)
  • ePPDS
  • GATP / ATP
  • Demand Planning (DP)
  • Supply Network Planning (SNP)
  • Core Interface (CIF)
  • MPS concepts
  • Heuristics
  • PDS (Production Data Structure) usage
• Deep understanding of integrated supply chain processes including:
  • Production planning
  • Block planning
  • Demand forecasting
  • Scheduling
  • Inventory optimization
  • Logistics
  • Sales orders
  • Order fulfillment
  • Supply chain planning
• Manufacturing industry experience in large, complex enterprise environments
• SAP ECC and/or S/4
  
  HANA experience
• Experience supporting, configuring, enhancing, and troubleshooting SAP APO environments
• Strong requirements gathering, business analysis, process improvement, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with SAP integrations including Mule Soft, EDI's, RFCs, APIs, BAPIs, EDI, PI/PO, Net Weaver architecture or related technologies
• Experience supporting AMS providers, Accenture-style consulting partners, or third-party SAP support organizations
• Ability to succeed in highly customized SAP environments and quickly adapt to new systems/processes
• Ownership mentality, accountability, initiative, and strong collaboration skills
• SAP S/4
  
  HANA implementation or support experience
• SAP IBP experience or APO-to-IBP migration experience
• SAP ECC expertise
• Experience with SAP BTP, Fiori, or ABAP Cloud
• Full lifecycle SAP implementation experience
• Experience working with AMS providers or third-party SAP support partners
• SAP certification
• Design Thinking, Agile, or digital transformation experience
