Yzer is seeking an AI Systems Engineer to design, deploy and maintain the infrastructure and systems that support AI-driven applications and tools across the organization. This role bridges software engineering, systems architecture, and machine learning operations to ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, and reliably integrated into existing business systems.
Location: 12470 Telecom Drive Tampa FL- (Onsite) No Hybrid or Virtual available
Hours: 40 standard, however additional hours will be necessary based on customer needs. M-F 8:30AM to 5:30pm .
Requirements — what you bring:
Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain infrastructure supporting AI/ML models and applications (cloud and/or on-premise).
Integrate AI tools and platforms with existing enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.) into data lakes, data warehouses, and modern data architectures.
Monitor system performance, uptime, and scalability of AI workloads.
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deploy models into production environments
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML deployments (MLOps).
Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance standards are met for AI systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AI system performance.
Evaluate and recommend new AI tools, platforms, and vendors.
Experience designing and developing dashboards, visualizations, and executive reporting solutions.
Document system architecture, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
Partner with IT and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven efficiency.
- Identify and implement AI-driven opportunities that improve productivity and decision-making.
- Build scalable integrations between systems and data platforms.
- Create dashboards and analytics solutions that provide operational visibility and actionable insights.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions that streamline processes and drive measurable results.
- Champion innovation while ensuring solutions are practical, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in systems engineering, Dev Ops, or infrastructure roles
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch, or similar)
Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python, Bash, or similar)
Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and version control (Git)
- Experience with MLOps platforms (MLflow, Kubeflow, Sage Maker, etc.)
- Familiarity with LLM deployment and API integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Background in data engineering or database management
