Learning Management System Administrator
Job Summary:
The Learning Management System Administrator has a passion for developing others through impactful curricula, learning paths, and learning experiences for colleagues across the client's locations. This role plays an integral part in our client's Organizational Development & Learning team, collaborating with facilitators and subject matter experts to support the delivery of education experiences for both clinical and non-clinical settings. This role is responsible for driving a strong user-experience on our learning management system.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serves as system administrator for the organization's Learning Management System (LMS) database.
- Responsible for technical management and publishing of content through the LMS including the research, resolution, and escalation of issues.
- Coordinate LMS projects across departments. Analyze requirements for how the systems will support the learning function's processes including group creation and assignments.
- Oversee colleague learning paths across the organization in order to meet learning needs and regulatory requirements.
- Support LMS reporting on training activities in order to maximize the effectiveness of the learning systems and support compliance and audit requirements.
- Design high reliability solutions in LMS for business processes within the organization including reporting and troubleshooting technical issues; consult with department leaders and facilitators to provide best practices in leveraging the LMS.
- Collaborate with department leaders to ensure successful deployment of courseware and the coordination of appropriate functionality within LMS to meet the needs of all requesting parties.
- Collaborates with the HRIS administrator and IT teams on the integration of the LMS with current systems and new technologies.
- Provide expert insight and guidelines to ensure projects are completed in a standard way, uniform with LMS construction and aligned with organizational design standards in language and style.
- Remain current on trends in educational technology, platforms and techniques to train team members and other colleagues on LMS use.

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret instructions for the systems used, write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, staff, volunteers, vendors, and other involved parties.
- Ability to independently solve practical problems and through team collaboration, interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form.
- Superb troubleshooting skills and tenacity in problem solving; attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and coordinate work assignments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.

Skills & Experience:
- Experience utilizing a learning management system (LMS) to effectively implement training programs; strong analytical skills and experience using data to report results and influence decision making strongly.
Education:
Required
Education:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university.
- OR One to two (1-2) years related experience and/or training.
- OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
