Position SummaryWe are seeking a Desktop Support Technician I to provide technical support across our health centers. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting end users, and ensuring systems run efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, phones, and printers
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Support IT connectivity for medical devices
Manage user accounts, passwords, and system access
Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely follow-up
Coordinate with vendors for technical support
Travel to local sites for equipment setup and support
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and TFHC policies
QualificationsAssociate degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of desktop support experience
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft) preferred
Skills & AbilitiesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with Windows and Mac systems
Ability to communicate technical information clearly
Strong organization and multitasking ability
Customer-focused and team-oriented

Please note that the employee’s initial training schedule may differ from the regular schedule of the position. All new hires, including part-time employees, must be available for up to 40 hours of in-person, on-site training during their first week. Additional mandatory training may continue for approximately two to three weeks, depending on the position and training requirements. Training may take place at a TFHC location other than the employee’s assigned work location.
