Position SummaryWe are seeking a Desktop Support Technician I to provide technical support across our health centers. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting end users, and ensuring systems run efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, phones, and printers
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Support IT connectivity for medical devices
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and system access
- Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely follow-up
- Coordinate with vendors for technical support
- Travel to local sites for equipment setup and support
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and TFHC policies
- Associate degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of desktop support experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft) preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Windows and Mac systems
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly

Please note that the employee’s initial training schedule may differ from the regular schedule of the position. All new hires, including part-time employees, must be available for up to 40 hours of in-person, on-site training during their first week. Additional mandatory training may continue for approximately two to three weeks, depending on the position and training requirements. Training may take place at a TFHC location other than the employee’s assigned work location.
