IT Project Manager III (Finance) HYBRID EMPLOYEE

Reports to the institution in Tampa, FL. Can work remotely 1 to 2 days a week.

HOURS

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

PRIMARY PURPOSE

The IT Project Manager III provides leadership and oversight for complex network infrastructure projects that support the university's technology. The IT Project Manager III ensures initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with institutional priorities. This position collaborates with senior leadership, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve outcomes that enhance network reliability, connectivity, and long‑term sustainability.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Systems. Six (6) years in any occupation in related positions with IT project management, leading large‑scale Network Infrastructure and Cloud Computing initiatives experience. Six (6) years in any occupation in related positions with IT project management, leading large‑scale Network Infrastructure and Cloud Computing initiatives experience must include:
Four (4) years of experience applying Project Management Professional (PMP) methodology;
Four (4) years of experience in Product Management in Networking;
Experience with Project Management Tools; and Experience with Network Infrastructure and Cloud Computing.

ALTERNATE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Employer will accept a Masters in Business or Information Systems and Four (4) years of experience in any occupation in related positions with IT project management, leading large‑scale Network Infrastructure and Cloud Computing initiatives experience. Must have skills listed above.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Conditional upon meeting all employment eligibility requirements in the U.S.
