Job Summary:
The Training Project Manager & Walk Me Implementation Lead (Level
6) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing training deliverables that support user readiness, adoption, and process execution for the S/4
HANA transformation program.
This role balances responsibilities across two core areas: approximately 50% focused on Walk Me implementation for in-application guidance, and approximately 50% focused on broader training project management across other training channels, including curriculum coordination, course development tracking, stakeholder reviews, delivery readiness, and training deployment activities. The position reports to the Level 6b Training Lead and is accountable for coordinated execution, stakeholder alignment, and adherence to defined scope, standards, and program milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Project Management:
Coordinate execution of the integrated S/4
HANA training plan across multiple training channels, including instructor-led training, eLearning, job aids, knowledge articles, communications, and other enablement materials
Manage training workplans, milestones, dependencies, content development timelines, review cycles, and readiness activities
Track progress against curriculum, course development, deployment, and adoption readiness milestones; identify risks, gaps, and decisions requiring escalation
Walk Me Delivery Execution:
Coordinate end-to-end delivery of Walk Me assets within the defined S/4
HANA scope, including Smart Walk-Thrus, Smart Tips, Launchers, and other in-application guidance components
Translate business process inputs, test scripts, training content, and role-based workflows into targeted Walk Me deliverables
Track Walk Me use cases, builds, approvals, testing, deployment readiness, and post-launch updates to ensure content is delivered on time and aligned to quality standards
Cross-Functional Coordination & Stakeholder Management:
Partner with functional SMEs, E2E leads, change management, training teams, and business stakeholders to validate training needs, channel strategy, scope, and requirements
Facilitate structured SME review cycles for Walk Me and non-Walk Me training content, ensuring feedback is documented, resolved, and incorporated appropriately
Coordinate with external partners, including SAP, Walk Me, and other delivery resources, to support integrated training execution
Ensure Walk Me guidance is positioned as execution support that complements formal training, performance support, and broader change enablement channels
Coordinate readiness activities for UAT, go-live, and hypercare across Walk Me and other training channels
Support alignment between training curriculum, delivery schedules, communications, learner audiences, role mappings, and adoption support needs
Governance & Tracking:
Maintain visibility into overall training scope, Walk Me backlog, course development status, content review progress, deployment readiness, and open issues
Track risks, dependencies, decisions, and gaps across Walk Me and other training deliverables; elevate as needed to maintain schedule and quality
Support adherence to established training standards, templates, governance forums, prioritization criteria, and reporting expectations
Capture learner, SME, and stakeholder feedback to improve Walk Me content, training materials, delivery effectiveness, and usability
Identify opportunities to improve training project execution, content development efficiency, channel integration, and adoption support
Support iterative updates aligned to evolving S/4
HANA needs, stabilization priorities, and post-go-live support requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Training, or related field
Relevant experience supporting training project management, change management, digital adoption, or large-scale system implementation initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong project management and stakeholder alignment skills
