** Summary
* * The Data Quality and Business Intelligence department provides a centralized service to Moffitt in support of business, research, clinical, hospital operation, and workforce reporting needs across the institution. The department provides

Moffitt enterprise-wide data reporting, analytics, data curation, and standards services. The three main work streams are governed under the Enterprise Wide Analytics Strategy (EWAS) Steering Committee headed by our VP/Chief Data Officer.

This role is under the work stream Business Intelligence (BI) and works as an integral part of the BI team. The position is responsible for center-wide data extractions, queries, data reporting and data delivery under the coaching of senior BI team members. This position supports strategic initiatives by enabling the analysis of operational data (clinical, research, patient focused, financial and administrative) and report of aggregated information using various BI tools.

This position collaborates with Moffitt clinicians, researchers, and operational staff to ensure their data reporting requirements are met through data extraction, reports/dashboards building, using a suit of comprehensive BI solutions.

This is an experienced entry level within the BI career path. With guidance from senior professionals or leaders this role ensures business intelligence requirements are met, through data extraction, reports/dashboards building, utilizing a suite of comprehensive BI solutions  Responsibilities:  
* Timely respond ad-hoc data requests from Moffitt data users by performing data extracts, queries, creating data reports, granting access and subscriptions, fixing minor data issues, addressing questions
* Complete other assigned BI tickets and ad-hoc data requests based on triage and modify existing reporting products as requested by the managers.
* Provides end-user support, documentation and training for business intelligence solutions
* Effectively supports, maintains and enhances reports, dashboards, decision support systems that are currently in production.
* Assists in the development of business intelligence solutions, including SSIS packages, SSRS reports, dashboards and various data visualizations  Education and Credentials:
* Bachelor's degree: field of study - Healthcare Informatics/analytics, Public Health with Biostats/Epi concentrations, Clinical informatics, Computer Science/engineering, Biostatistics, Business analytics, or related field
* Minimum 2 years experience in data query, extraction, data reporting and analysis in relevant information Systems capacity
* Demonstrated understanding of transactional and decision support systems
* Working knowledge of relational database architecture, data warehousing and business intelligence
* Some experience in writing standard SQL and T-SQL procedures and functions
