Manager of Business & Marketing Analytics | Tampa, FL

I’m partnering with a growing multi-unit restaurant organization that is looking to add a Manager of Business & Marketing Analytics to their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical, tech-savvy professional who understands restaurant data and has experience partnering closely with marketing teams. This person will help turn data into actionable business and marketing insights while supporting strategic initiatives across the organization, including AI innovation.

The ideal candidate can speak both data and marketing; someone who understands how analytics can be used to measure campaign performance, customer behavior, promotions, menu performance, and overall business growth.

• Build and maintain executive dashboards, financial reports, marketing reports, and KPI scorecards
• Analyze sales, labor, food costs, product mix, business trends, marketing performance, and customer behavior
• Partner closely with Marketing to analyze campaign performance, promotions, customer engagement, and ROI
• Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for marketing and business strategy
• Analyze menu mix, contribution margins, pricing, promotions, and customer purchasing behavior
• Leverage POS, loyalty, online ordering, and guest feedback data to identify trends and opportunities
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing to identify performance trends and operational opportunities
• Ensure data quality and accuracy across POS and accounting systems
• Maintain menu, pricing, and item data
• Lead the operational launch of the organization’s AI initiatives, including identifying use cases and running pilots
• Prepare and govern datasets used to support AI tools
• Evaluate AI capabilities and determine practical applications for the business
• Present findings and recommendations to executives, operators, and marketing leadership

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience working with restaurant technology platforms and data
• Previous experience partnering with or supporting Marketing teams is required
• Strong understanding of marketing terminology, KPIs, campaign performance, customer engagement, promotions, ROI, and marketing analytics
• Strong SQL skills and experience with a BI platform such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar
• Understanding of restaurant metrics including PMIX, comparable sales, labor percentages, channel economics, and guest lifetime value
• Experience with APIs, ETL/ELT, data integration, or data warehousing
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Interest in AI and its practical applications within business and marketing
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to work with executives and cross-functional teams
• Experience with Aloha Enterprise reporting is preferred
• Restaurant operations or team member experience is a plus
