Spanish Interpreter — Tampa, FL; USCIS​/Immigration Appointments

Rush Translations & Immigrant Services is hiring experienced Spanish interpreters in Tampa and the surrounding region for in-person USCIS immigration appointments.

We dispatch interpreters to USCIS field office and asylum office appointments to support clients during interviews. Assignments are scheduled in advance and typically last 2-4 hours, sometimes longer.

USCIS Office at 5629 Hoover Blvd, Tampa, FL. We also serve clients across the broader Tampa metropolitan area.

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between Spanish and English
• Arrive 30 minutes before scheduled appointment time
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct
• Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before your first assignment
• This is an independent contractor (1099) position. We are growing rapidly and looking to build long-term relationships with quality interpreters across the country.

• Half-day block payment with 2-hour minimum guarantee
• Per-assignment work — accept assignments that fit your schedule
• Preparation materials and guides provided
• Fast payment via Zelle, ACH, wire, Pay Pal, Venmo, or invoice

• Professional fluency in Spanish and English
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Prior interpretation experience (immigration experience preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation
• Professional demeanor
