The work you’ll feel confident owningYou’ll play a key role in moving litigation cases forward with accuracy, preparation, and strategic support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses on a monthly basis
- Organizing, reviewing, and proactively managing discovery, including pursuing outstanding discovery and court intervention when needed
- Preparing and reviewing trial binders, exhibits, and witness lists with close attention to detail
- Coordinating depositions, expert witnesses, and court filings
- Conducting legal research on unfamiliar case law, statutes, and procedural rules
- Assisting with trial preparation, including jury research and courtroom logistics
- Monitoring case calendars monthly and proactively managing all court deadlines
- Ensuring compliance with Court Management Orders and procedural requirements
- Performing accurate monthly data entry related to case phases, injuries, and treatment notes
- Participating in monthly file reviews with attorneys and contributing thoughtful strategy notes
- Handling post‑settlement tasks, including closings and lien reduction requests within one to two months
- Showing up daily as a dependable, collaborative team member others can count on
- You have 3+ years of litigation experience in personal injury trial work
- You have strong working knowledge of civil procedure and personal injury law
- You’re proficient in case management software such as Filevine
- You work well under pressure without sacrificing accuracy
- You’re persistent, detail‑oriented, and disciplined in your approach
- You balance empathy for clients with rigor in execution
