LHH is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Real Estate, Construction & Development team in Tampa. This full-time, in-person role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in real estate law, including commercial real estate, construction and development, pre- and post-closing activities, land use, and litigation support.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence as requested by attorneys and paralegals
- Conduct legal research on property records, zoning laws, land use regulations, and related matters
- Apply procedural guidelines across multiple jurisdictions
- Organize, maintain, and update client files, case documents, and transaction records
- Provide general administrative support, including phone coverage, correspondence management, and scheduling meetings
- Interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and external contacts
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant in real estate law
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education a plus)
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
