Overview
Safely transports students, staff and visitors between USF Tampa campus and surrounding locations within a two mile radius of our campus.
Responsibilities- Utilizes the 2-way radio and Mobile Data Terminal (MDT).
- Operates ADA equipment including tie downs & audio visual announcement system (AVAS).
- Accurately records ridership counts using the MDT.
- Provides route and other necessary information to passengers.
- Completes personal departmental paperwork in compliance with department's standards to include:
When to Work, Sign-in/Sign-Out log, Oracle leave record, and Web Clock punch in/out. - Other related responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalency;
Possession of a current Florida CDL class B driver's license with passenger endorsement, as well as an active Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
Preferred Qualifications: Three or more years of experience driving buses or one year experience with Bull Runner. University setting experience.
