Data Analyst – Natural Gas Supply Chain & Master Data

Peoples Gas System

Florida – Tampa

Shift: 8 Hr. X 5 Days

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate material and vendor master data in SAP, ensuring adherence to standards and business rules.
  • Review, validate, and cleanse data before system entry.
  • Support inventory control strategies to reduce stockouts and balance material availability with cost efficiency.
  • Analyze stock levels and recommend replenishment adjustments.
  • Resolve issues related to deliveries, invoices, and material discrepancies.
  • Participate in cross‑functional efforts to improve supply chain processes.
  • More experienced candidates may also lead root‑cause analysis, mentor junior analysts, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements (Entry Level)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 1+ years experience in materials management, logistics, supply chain, or data‑related work.
  • Strong Excel/Microsoft Office skills; analytical and detail‑focused.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively.
Preferred / Advanced Qualifications
  • 3–6+ years of experience in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain operations.
  • SAP experience (material master, vendor master, or inventory modules).
  • Strong understanding of inventory methods, replenishment strategies, or utility/industrial materials.
  • Ability to lead improvement initiatives, cross‑functional teams, or mentor others.
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables) or experience with reporting/data tools.
Emergency Response Requirements

TECO Energy and its companies serve a role in providing critical services to our community during an emergency.
