Supply Chain Operations Co‑Op/Intern - Spring 2027
Location:
Tampa Marine Terminal, 2520 Guy Verger Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33605. Regular travel to other Florida sites. Housing and relocation can be provided for qualified candidates.
Term:
January 11, 2027 to April 23, 2027. Full time, 36-40 hours per week, in person. 9/80 schedule if applicable.
- Support supply chain projects and process improvement initiatives across multiple teams and sites.
- Assist with business analysis, system evaluations, and SAP-related activities.
- Participate in maintenance processes and asset assessments to support operational efficiency.
- Use supply chain tools to help with inventory, logistics, and demand planning efforts.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including operations, engineering, and contractors.
- Attend team and project meetings while gaining exposure to safety, logistics, and operations.
- Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, plant operators, engineers (of various disciplines), tradespersons, and contractors.
- Participate in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment.
- Adhere to Mosaic’s mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies.
- Junior level by January 2027 or higher, currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Interest in maritime or port terminal operations.
- Experience with SAP preferred.
- 2.75 GPA or higher.
- Valid TWIC card or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to function in an industrial chemical and mining environment.
- 1‑2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is preferred.
- Previous internship or co‑op experience preferred.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel to and from sites and/or office.
- Ability to work full time and remain a student during the co‑op/internship.
- Selected candidates must successfully complete pre‑offer/pre‑placement drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, and functional capacity examination.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Experience working in a team environment is a must.
- Familiarity with an industrial environment highly desirable.
- Effective verbal communication skills is a plus.
- Physical demands: able to lift 0‑25 lbs occasionally, climb stairs, work at various heights, distinguish specific colors, patterns or materials, hear, read, write, and understand basic English, see with or without correction, and use fine hand motor skills.
