NAPA IBS is an onsite Single Source Supply Chain Management program that procures and manages parts, tires, bulk fluids, and other non-automotive inventory within our customers' locations. - Who We Serve.
This position is located inside the City of Tampa Fire garage on Chestnut.
Work Environment- This location operates Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, with potential extended hours during emergencies such as hurricanes or other natural disasters.
- Work is performed inside our customers' facilities.
- The location does not have air conditioning.
- Exposure to fumes or airborne particles may occur during duties.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to partners and clients.
- Process electronic part requests using the IBS HUB computer system.
- Locate assets in the shop and gather additional information like VIN, serial numbers, or part numbers to assist sourcing.
- Fulfill work order requests utilizing approved IBS vendors.
- Assist in receiving and stocking supplies, including barcode tagging and proper placement.
- Operate delivery vehicle for pickups and drop-offs as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the site, stockroom, and surrounding areas.
- Report and address customer sales or service concerns promptly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Parts knowledge in Fire, EMS, or related industries (Automotive, Heavy Duty, Transit, etc.) preferred.
- Ability to source hard-to-find items via internet, catalogs, or blueprints.
- Comfortable working in a fleet shop environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift.
- Capable of lifting and moving up to 60 pounds.
- Able to bend, stoop, and reach shelves (up to eight feet) using stools or ladders when necessary.
- Operate moving aids such as hand trucks, carts, and dollies.
