Custodian

Overview

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Custodian to join our team at Shooters World to clean the storefront and offices on a scheduled basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and staff. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and displays.
• Empty and clean trash cans throughout the store, offices, and break room.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors.
• Clean and vacuum door mats and rugs.
• Maintain cleanliness of break rooms and common areas.
• Complete a deep clean of the refrigerators on a bi-monthly basis.
• Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the General Manager.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly.

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Successful completion of a drug screening and background check is necessary.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

• Proficiency in English is required to ensure effective communication with customers and staff.
