Position Overview
:

As part of the talented Freedom Boat Club team (the nation’s oldest and largest private member boat club), you will work with a team of Dock Staff on our fleet of boats, primarily performing as a Fleetio Maintenance Technician. You will be responsible for performing light maintenance on vessels and logging work in Fleetio fleet management software. The role also requires basic customer service skills, as regular interaction with members will be involved.

Essential Functions:

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental. While some skills are necessary, others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• At least 21 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to use a tablet and Fleetio software
• Good vision for reading and manipulating tablets
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Maintain a clean work area
• Adhere to safety policies
• Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in fleet maintenance
• Boating experience
• Proven application usage skills
• High attention to detail
• Calm and positive attitude during busy periods

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Work on docks that may be fixed or floating
• Work near and on water
• Move safely on vessels during different tide and weather conditions
• Extended standing outdoors
• Local travel required

The pay for this role is $15.00 per hour.
