We are currently hiring a Maintenance Porter to support the smooth operation of our hangar facilities and aircraft parts department. This role involves maintaining a clean and organized work environment, managing parts inventory, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring that all facilities meet safety and cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to perform routine maintenance tasks while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Location:

Tampa, Florida (KTPA)

Schedule:

Part‑Time, flexible hours with occasional after‑hours as needed

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hangar, office spaces, restrooms, and break areas.
• Sweep floors and take out trash regularly to ensure a neat work environment.
• Assist with the receiving and shipping of parts and packages, ensuring proper inventory and organization.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as light bulb replacement, wall retouching, and minor repairs.
• Stock and maintain supplies of snacks, drinks, and dry goods in the hangar and office spaces.
• Support the parts manager with inventory control, including restocking and placing orders for consumables and parts.
• Assist with deliveries, ensuring parts are handled and stored correctly.
• Perform daily shop walks to ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Communicate effectively with co‑workers, management, and customers to maintain a professional and courteous atmosphere.

• High School diploma or GED equivalency certificate.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record; ability to drive to other locations as needed.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Comfortable using safety equipment such as a safety belt when required.
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work in an organized, safety‑conscious manner.
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and perform general physical tasks.

• Previous experience in a hangar, warehouse, or parts department.
• Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks and tools.
• Ability to operate specific cleaning equipment and tools.
• Previous experience in inventory control or parts management.
