The Stovall House – Maintenance and Facility
Address: 4621 Bayshore Boulevard, Tampa, FL, 33611, US
- Ensure all areas (interior and exterior) are clean, safe, and presentable.
- Conduct regular inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.
- Keep track of maintenance schedules for HVAC, lighting, plumbing, safety systems, etc.
- Perform or coordinate preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
- Lead, schedule, and supervise maintenance or custodial team members.
- Communicate clearly with staff and management about facility needs or concerns.
- Schedule and oversee vendors or contractors for repairs, inspections, and services.
- Ensure quality and cost-effective work is performed.
- Maintain compliance with safety codes and regulations (e.g., OSHA, fire codes).
- Ensure safety equipment (alarms, extinguishers, signage) is functional and up to date.
- Maintain stock of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Track usage and request orders before running out.
- Prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance work.
- Be available for facility-related emergencies.
- Quickly respond to urgent repairs or unsafe conditions.
- Help control costs related to repairs and supplies.
- Suggest cost-effective solutions and improvements.
- Represent the company well through professional behavior, appearance, and communication.
- Set an example for others through accountability and reliability.
