Job Summary
Join us in pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare. This role is a Customer Service Engineer I based in Tampa, FL, with responsibilities including servicing CT/PET equipment, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthineers equipment.
Responsibilities- Servicing CT/PET equipment.
- Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthineers equipment.
- Delivering effective repairs and training operators to ensure optimal system performance.
- Managing financial performance within the territory through inventory, time management, and timely service call closure.
- Managing company assets including car, cell phone, computer, and tools.
- Establishing and maintaining proper business relationships with customers and peers, and performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
- Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on medical imaging equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in tools and service test equipment.
- General understanding of the principles of electricity, power supplies, and grounding.
- Minimum high school diploma; technical degree or equivalent preferred.
- Proficiency in tools and service test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, torque wrenches, etc.).
- Ability to work individually and in a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- 1+ years’ experience with complex electro‑mechanical or medical technology service.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to drive day and night.
- Physical requirements:
lifting 50 lbs, walking, ladder climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high‑reach, fine grasping, good vision. - Highly organized and able to plan.
Base pay range: $50,210 – $69,036. Commission eligibility as per company plan.
