SUMMARY:The Maintenance Technician performs various tasks that contribute to the overall maintenance and upkeep of all agency programs and their adjacent grounds and provides support to the Director of Plant Operations.

• Assist and provide backuptothe
  
  Director of Plant Operationsinensuring  thateach and every building is operating at maximum efficiency and issafeand secure for employees, volunteers, clients, and visitors
• Perform lawn maintenance as required
• Stripand wax allfloorsinall agency programs as directed
• Usea broad spectrum of skills covering such trades as carpentry, plumbing, roofing, air conditioning, electrical, painting in day-to-day activities
• Undertakespecialmaintenanceprojectsinall agency programs as directed
• Help keep the Center of Hope's client rooms in good order by repainting, repairing and/or readying rooms for new admissions while seeing to other maintenance issues in rooms of existing clients

• Comply with all applicable training requirements
• Comply with all company safety, personnel and operational policies and procedures
• Comply with work schedule to ensure effective operations of Agency programs
• Contributes positively asamember ofaproductive and cooperative team
• Performs other dutiesas necessary to fulfill the St. Vincent de Paul CARES Mission
