Position Overview:
We are seeking a full time skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to support facility and equipment operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving facility systems and production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment and Facility Maintenance:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Support fabrication, modifications, and adjustments to production lines based on operational needs.
- Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and parts inventory documentation.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow OSHA, GMP, and company safety procedures during all maintenance activities.
- Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Identify potential equipment or facility hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Operational Support:
- Collaborate with production and facility management teams to prioritize maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and production support needs.
- Travel occasionally between local facilities to assist with projects and repairs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a maintenance technician or related role preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with fabrication and production line modifications preferred.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and OSHA regulations preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Preferred English/spanish speaking bilingual.
- Must be able to read English
- Manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to machinery and maintenance tools.
- Must be able to work in dusty environment with powders
- Frequent standing, bending, lifting, climbing, and physical activity.
- May require flexible scheduling, weekends, or on-call support.
- PPE required while working on the production floor.
