Position Overview

The Deputy Executive Director will act as a key operational partner, providing strategic leadership and driving overall organizational effectiveness and performance. This leader will guide teams through high‑impact work involving hospital development and regulatory compliance. The role requires exceptional judgment, calm under pressure, and a collaborative leadership approach within a fast‑paced medical setting.

Responsibilities
  • Support and serve as backup to the Executive Director while overseeing staff, managers, and operational functions.
  • Build strong relationships with managers, clinical partners, hospitals, and internal teams.
  • Participate in on‑call leadership rotation with 24/7 availability when assigned.
Qualifications
  • Strong leadership, communication, and staff‑management abilities within a medical or high‑acuity environment.
  • Knowledge of OPO operations, clinical settings, or ICU/OR workflows.
  • Experience with regulatory, data, and compliance requirements relevant to OPO operations.
  • Ability to excel in high‑stress situations requiring sound judgment and extended or unpredictable hours.
  • Collaborative and professional interpersonal style with the ability to work effectively across departments.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $149,000 annually, depending on experience.
