We are seeking an experienced Vice President, Compliance to lead all regulatory, licensing, and governance functions for a multi‑state reciprocal insurance exchange
. This executive will ensure full compliance across all 50 states while supporting the unique operational structure of a reciprocal, including oversight of the Attorney‑in‑Fact (AIF), subscriber interests, and exchange governance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide enterprise leadership for producer licensing strategy and oversight across all jurisdictions
  • Direct reciprocal governance and compliance
    , ensuring alignment between the Exchange, the Attorney‑in‑Fact, and all delegated partners
  • Oversee TPA, MGA, and carrier partner compliance
    , including contractual governance, risk management, and regulatory expectations
  • Lead multi‑state regulatory filings
    , rate/form submissions, and direct engagement with Departments of Insurance
  • Serve as the organization’s expert on state DOI frameworks
    , reciprocal‑specific requirements, and emerging regulatory trends
  • Manage regulatory audits, internal reviews, and compliance testing programs to ensure adherence across the Exchange and AIF
  • Oversee policy governance
    , ensuring program design, documentation, and operational execution meet reciprocal and regulatory standards
  • Partner with executive leadership to build scalable, transparent compliance infrastructure that supports subscriber protection and exchange stability
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of P&C insurance compliance experience
    , ideally within a reciprocal, insurer, or MGA environment
  • Deep understanding of reciprocal insurance structures
    , including AIF responsibilities, subscriber relationships, and governance requirements
  • Proven ability to build and scale compliance functions in a multi‑state environment
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across the Exchange, AIF, and delegated partners
  • Demonstrated success operating in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented insurance organization
