Success in today’s market requires strong positioning, compelling storytelling, and disciplined proposal leadership. As a Regional Marketing leader at HDR, you will oversee proposal teams, guide complex pursuits, and strengthen our regional competitiveness while mentoring the next generation of marketing professionals.
Lead & Develop High‑Performing Teams- Build, mentor, and lead a team of marketing professionals in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment
- Align marketing resources with regional priorities and workload demands
- Partner with leadership to attract and retain top talent across technical, business development, and marketing roles
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitive dynamics, and client drivers
- Contribute to and help execute annual and long‑range strategic growth plans
- Advance priority growth initiatives and strategic investments
- Develop and implement client account strategies to expand market share and deepen relationships
- Cultivate strong teaming partnerships to enhance competitiveness
- Position HDR early with priority clients and opportunities
- Guide teams through disciplined go/no‑go decisions and capture planning
- Serve as Proposal Manager for key pursuits, leading strategy, messaging, and execution
- Coach teams to deliver compelling proposals and confident interview presentations
- Lead post‑pursuit debriefs to strengthen future competitiveness
- Direct integrated marketing campaigns that elevate HDR’s thought leadership
- Expand visibility through industry associations, conferences, and speaking engagements
- Represent HDR in professional settings to strengthen market presence
- Manage regional marketing budgets and performance metrics
- Leverage CRM and reporting systems to inform strategy and decision‑making
- Plan and execute large internal meetings and strategic events
- A minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated "self‑starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversight
- Deep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional services
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others
- Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including In Design
- Ability and desire to travel and engage with others in‑person
